Church Vision

To see the community of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, and the surrounding area come together for Christ; people helping, loving, and serving one another to further the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How are we going to accomplish this?

• By providing a place where people can gather each week for a time of celebration and encouragement

• By teaching people what the Bible says about how to have a blessed life, how to love others, how to serve others, how to have a right relationship with God through Jesus

• By supporting missionaries, bible camps and colleges where people can learn and grow in Christ

• by supporting Mothers of Preschoolers; knowing that the first few years of a child's life is important and a mother needs help sometimes raising their children in an atmosphere of love and acceptance

• by providing special time that people can gather together just for the fun of it!

• by praying for people and helping them with whatever special need they have

• by never losing zeal, nor our desire of impacting the world, one person at a time

Steve Bond - Senior Minister

Steve has been at Park Street since January 2005.  Steve grew up in Fayetteville, Arkansas (Go Bulldogs!) and loves small towns.  He graduated from Houston Bible Institute in 1984 and began preaching full-time.  He has served full-time with churches in Arkansas, Texas, Kansas (9 years), Oklahoma (5 years) - and now Missouri!   Steve and Tamy met in Wichita, Kansas, and recently celebrated their 12-year wedding anniversary.  Waiting for God's mate is not easy - but it certainly has paid off for them!  They have two children, Gracelyn (9) and Nathanael (7).

 

Tamy loves music and plays the piano for our services.  She is a homemaker and loves to cook and bake anything!!  Trying new recipes is a favorite hobby.  She teaches their children at home and manages their web services business.  

 

Steve and his family are excited to be serving in a small community again.  They love people and the feel of a close community.

Travis Bryson - Youth Minister

We are excited to have Travis and Kelly in our family!  Travis joined our staff in 2006 and brings several years of experience with children and youth ministry.  Travis grew up in Salem, MO, graduated college with a degree in Construction and Design, worked for MoDot, and began his youth ministry at Willard Community Church.  They recently celebrated their wedding anniversary during VBS - what commitment!!  They have 3 children - Isabell (5), Olivia (3), and Sophia (1).

 

Kelly grew up here in El Dorado Springs - you might know her as Kelly Carter.  She loves people and gardening.  She can make anything grow!  She also make amazing hair bows for all her girls - and others - just ask her!
